I am a graduate of the University of Notre Dame both Bachelors and Masters in Spanish Language and Literature. After graduating from there, I spent a year teaching in Japan and learning more Japanese. I have taught for over 20 years as a Bilingual Spanish/English elementary teacher, Spanish teacher and ENL teacher. I've taught children as young as 3 and adults in their 80's. I am passionate about teaching languages because it is a bridge between different cultures. I enjoy teaching because I have had brilliant and kind teachers that helped raise me(mother, father, aunts, cousins..) and also amazing mentor teachers that have inspired me to always improve my craft of educating my students. My interests and hobbies are varied. I love Salsa, Samba and hip hop dance. Recently, my husband kids and I started taking ballroom dance and that was amazing! I also enjoy indoor cycling, running, hiking and anything my kids love doing. I'm not a great gamer, but have played the games my sons ask me to play at least once. It's also fun to watch movies either in the theater or at home. My greatest interest is to travel and I look forward to travelling this year to New York City and South America.
