Certified Tutor

I have been a classical musician, chemist, teacher, and educational leader in my professional life. I studied English at the University of Chicago, music and chemistry at Indiana University, and I completed my MS in chemistry at New York University. I worked in education in New York for 25 years, including as a science and math teacher, department chair, and Head of Upper School for a number of K-12 independent schools. I reside in Hyde Park, Chicago. I am a STEAM educator who listens to the needs of my tutees and works to meet them. I'm also thinking about, listening to, and acting on ideas regarding leadership, education, and mentoring.
