Certified Tutor

I love tutoring because I am very passionate about the English language and English literature as well. Tutoring gives me an opportunity to share these passions of mine with others. I've worked with students of all ages from preschool up to college. I work for a local community college's online writing center as a writing tutor, and tutor children of all ages through another company. I have an Associate Degree of Arts from Midland College, just a small community college nearby, and I am currently working on my Bachelor Degree of Arts in English at Sul Ross State University. I tutor reading, writing, and literature. I especially like to tutor literature of any kind, but I really enjoy writing as well! I believe that learning should be an experience, and that students will learn more if they are enjoying themselves.

Outside of academia, I enjoy traveling, visiting new coffee shops, trying my hand at new recipes in the kitchen, and just being outside!
