I am a dedicated bilingual educator, researcher, and writer with K-12 professional tutoring, mentoring, teaching and instructing, research, writing, and community experience within the last six years.
During undergrad, I lead Bronxite and East Village, Manhattan middle school students in recreational activities and academic humanities support for two years. I catered and coordinated events for the largest Latino organization at New York University. I instructed Italian foreign exchange students in ESL at the advanced and intermediate level at Manhattan College, New York City.
Post 2021, I instructed and taught middle and high school English. In addition, I privately tutored bilingual elementary literacy-interventionist curriculum and high school humanities in the Denver and Aurora, Colorado metropolitan area. I became dual certified in Spanish Language and English Education in Colorado, and in 2023 returned to New York City to instruct and teach high school Spanish 1 in Brooklyn, New York.
