I am a current student at the University of South Carolina, and I am majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences and pursuing the Doctorate of Pharmacy/Doctorate of Philosophy (Pharm.D/Ph.D) Program. I am also minoring in Chemistry and Mathematical Biology. Throughout my collegiate experience, I have tutored a plethora of students in multiple subjects ranging from Chemistry and Biology to Mathematics and Statistics. I am also a teaching assistant for both College-level Chemistry and Biology. I am most passionate about the sciences and mathematics because there is a network that ties all concepts together. Either simple or complex, mathematics and science all boils down to basic principles that once understood, the highest level of comprehension can be achieved. I find that this is best performed by tutoring students to understand rather than memorize. Rather than just giving a student the quadratic equation to use, I will prove the quadratic equation and describe the process of doing so. I am the type of instructor that will not stop until a client understands a concept with the highest level of comprehension. I make several understandable connections among topics, and persuade students to "go the next level" when solving a problem to ensure the most prime form of comprehension and clarity. I am very compassionate about science and mathematics, and love spreading my knowledge to bright young students!
