I am a veteran educator and a believer that all children can learn given the proper support and services. I spent most of my teaching and administrative experience in urban schools.
During my educational career I have been able to connect and collaborate with educators globally.
Most of my career has been advocating for children in the areas of special education, behavioral issues, and mental health.
A passionate advocate for children in trauma and children experiencing mental health issues, I am author of three books geared for elementary children and loves helping children sort out their feelings. The books incorporate emotional health as well as social and emotional learning concepts with the goal of empowering children to freely and effectively communicate their thoughts and emotions.
