I love to tutor students and see them succeed. I believe that students have the potential to do well not only in the world of academia but also in life. Because I see the potential, I want to bring it out as I teach students. When I tutor, I explain concepts in a very clear manner so that students not only understand what methods they need to implement to solve the problems but also why they should apply such methods. That way, students can appreciate what needs to be done when they encounter questions in assignments, tests, and exams and successfully answer them.

For several years, I tutored many students ranging from Grade 1 to college level. On the same note, I tutored them in several subjects, including math, science, chemistry, and even music. I helped them with homework assignments, lab reports, quizzes, tests, and final examinations. During sessions, I would ask them if they understood what I explained to them, and they would tell me that they understood. If they did not, however, I would stop and re-explain the concepts. In some cases, I would do it a different way so that they better understand what I am explaining to them. In addition, I give students practice questions for them to work and congratulate them for the questions that they get correct. Based on the feedback I received, the students I tutored have performed better in their assessments.

I initially attended the University of Guyana from 2009 to 2011, where I pursued an associate degree in chemistry. In 2012, I migrated to the US and transferred to Brooklyn College, where I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. In addition, I also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Environmental Science. I graduated in 2016. In 2019, I pursued a Master of Science in Applied Environmental Geosciences at Queens College. I completed this degree in 2020.
