I have 2 years of teaching experience with all different ages.

I fluently speak English and Spanish. I have taught ESL to Spanish-speaking adults (and a couple of children) for a year as a volunteer for a non-profit organization. During that year I also spent a lot of time informally teaching Spanish to English speakers.

I have spent 6 months working in a classroom setting (3 months as an aide and 3 months as a teacher) with 5-7 year olds and I loved it! As an aide I worked mostly one on one and in small groups. I helped them mostly with reading but also with math and science. As a teacher at the Boys and Girls Club I taught mostly creative and physical classes. I have also nannied for years and love working with children.

I am currently a student at Utah State University studying Human Experience Design and Interaction. My studies involve learning about how people learn and interact with the world.

I love teaching. I love helping people learn and grow and reach their full potential.
