Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology at Huntington University with a minor in music. I am now in my fourth year at Indiana University School of Medicine preparing to enter residency as an Internal Medicine doctor. I have a passion for science, music, and Spanish, and my goal is to make them easier to understand so that each student can have an appreciation for the complicated beauty of our world.
I have always loved to learn, and teaching allows me to not only help others learn but also to experience curiosity in others.

Outside of the classroom, I am an outgoing, friendly person who enjoys taking part in my hobbies, especially with friends. I am married to my husband, Simon, and we love being outside, but we also love cooking together and watching movies. I have a general goal in life to try to put others above myself and to make people laugh with my horrible puns, and teaching is the perfect platform for both of those things :).

I believe that learning--whether it comes to science, music, or Spanish-- is all about finding how you connect with a subject and how you learn best. As your tutor, I promise to look for ways that make a subject more exciting to you and more interesting to learn. There is so much to know, and you'll never know it all, but that is okay; learning is life, so keep on learning!
