I have been a professor of political science and economics for more than ten years at colleges in Texas and Utah. I have taught courses ranging from 500-person lecture hall intro courses to intimate 20-or-so Honors-level courses. I have taken a hiatus because I am diabetic and am waiting for the pandemic to come more under control before I return to the classroom.

I have always loved comic books and have an enormous and pretty amazing collection I've put together over my life. I love to read and am almost always reading either comics or long-form journalism like The Economist or scientific journals to keep up with the profession.
