Certified Tutor

I have always had a passion for stories and storytelling. The worlds of Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and the Olympians were some of my most treasured companions growing up, and inspired me to pursue my own creative writing. It is this love for reading, writing, and imaginative engagement with the world that I hope to share with my students.

I also believe that my role is working alongside students to: 1) nurture enthusiasm for subjects they're drawn to 2) be a safe place to process frustration around and move through subjects that are more difficult 3) learn what their academic and future dreams are, and support them as best I can in my role as a tutor.

In college I pursued a degree in International Relations and French, and I hope to receive a Masters of Education in the next three years. After graduating college I worked as a bilingual assistant teacher in a French immersion school with 3-5 year olds, and have co-facilitated retreats with a middle and high school youth.
