Hi! My name is Dr. Mariah Carroll, and I'm a medical doctor who specializes in psychiatry! I received my undergraduate degree at Macaulay Honors College at CUNY and studied Premed, Sociology, and Music. I then continued my studied majored in Sociology, along with my Pre-Med classes. I also minored in Ethics, and Music Literature. In my spare time, I volunteered at the Writing Center on campus, helping other students with their grammar and essay writing. Believe it or not, I'm a published poet!

I then went on to receive a master's degree in Neuroscience from Tulane University and graduated at the top of my class. My love of the brain and human interaction led me to medical school in NY. There, I was a teacher's assistant for Anatomy and Physiology, Genetics, Biochemistry and Psychiatry.

I have been teaching since I was in high school--and have experience ranging from elementary to college-aged students. I pay very close attention to how someone learns and what they respond to--every learner is different. I customize the content and its approach to you.

I am also available for thesis writing, essay editing and career/CV advice.
