I am a graduate of Cornell University (B.A.) and the University of Miami (M.S.Ed.). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Women's Studies. I also earned my masters in education where I did research on literacy and writing strategies for students in grades 6-12. For the past 6 years I've been teaching ELA for 9th and 10th graders in Miami, FL. I've also tutored students who were struggling to prepare for Standardized Tests in the areas of Critical Reading and Writing exams. I firmly believe that any student can learn the literacy skills necessary to navigate the world.
