I believe that to be a great teacher, you must be willing to be a great learner. All the great teachers that I have met were flexible, kind, and learners themselves. I try to bring these qualities to every class I teach. As a teacher for almost 13 years, I also believe it is important to adapt and change what you teach based off of your student's strengths and learning styles. Making each teaching experience unique to the person you are teaching will help to make the material more relatable.
