Certified Tutor

I am currently a junior at Northwestern University. I am majoring in Social Policy and minoring in History and African American Studies. I am also in the accelerated masters program in Secondary Education. My plan is to become a history teacher in grades 6-12. I have 5 years of experience as a nanny with younger children ages 10 months-8 years old and everywhere in between! As a nanny I have gathered skills to have fun with children as well as providing them with educational resources. I believe strongly in the autonomy and passion that children have and I hope to highlight that often as a tutor and teacher. As a tutor I want to make sure students achieve their goals while prioritizing joy as the largest part of their educational experience.
