Certified Tutor

I am a senior at Utah State University. I am studying Mathematics and Statistics with a minor in Computer Science. Since high school, I lived in Spain for a year and a half on a church mission, teaching people from all over the world, especially immigrants from South America ; I work at Utah State as a recitation leader, teaching my own classes of about 15 students in Calculus and Linear Algebra ; and I volunteer at Guadalupe in Salt Lake City teaching English to adult immigrants. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, Statistics, and Programing. In my experience tutoring, I have found encouragement to instill confidence is so important. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, cooking, working out, and spending time with family.
