I hold a Master of Studies in English from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and Theatre with a focus on acting and directing from Pacific Lutheran University. My love of language and storytelling was shaped by my experiences growing up in the US Virgin Islands, Norway, and Germany. Now I hope to encourage students as they find their own means of self-expression. I have worked with students over the age of eighteen as a Teaching Assistant for my undergraduate English Department, as well as with elementary and middle school aged children as an Assistant Stage Manager at the Lakewood Institute of Theatre. While I mostly tutor subjects in the field of English literature and language, I very much enjoy the challenge of teaching performance-based techniques on an online platform.
