Hi! I'm Kyra. I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA with a BS in neuroscience and a BA in psychology in spring of 2023. I currently work at Yale University School of Medicine in the Department of Nephrology as a research associate. I am attending Washington State University's MD Program in August! :)
My biggest motto is that if you're not embracing your mistakes, you're not growing. Failure happens and there is no shame in it! It is hard to admit you need help and taking that step is one that will bring you toward academic excellence and accomplishing whatever goals you set out. I want our sessions to be interactive and applicable to your strengths - meeting you where you're at and addressing needs you may not have fulfilled in the classroom.
In my free time I enjoy competitive rock climbing, knitting, reading, playing with my cat, and running.
