I earned a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin. I then taught High School Social Studies, English, and Math (Algebra I & II & Geometry). Although most of my teaching experience has been in Social Studies (and my favorite class to teach was AP Government), I am most passionate about tutoring Math. I love building a student's confidence to the point where he or she no longer needs a tutor. In my spare time I enjoy working around our small farm.

In addition to teaching and helping students, I live on a small dairy farm with my family. We raise miniature dairy goats (I milk by hand), alpacas (my daughters spin the wool into yarn and make things with that), emus, chickens, miniature horses, and Great Pyrenees dogs.
