My name is Becca Goldman I am a trained educator with specialized experience in reading intervention and comprehension. I have a strong foundation in helping students develop the analytical and critical reasoning skills essential for both classroom and LSAT success. I am a graduate of Washington University in St Louis, where, after writing a thesis on the role of colonialism in the Rwandan genocide, I graduated with a 3.98 GPA and honors. I also earned a 178 on my most recent LSAT. I went on to teach secondary school ELA and History, designed and taught rigorous curricula, and coached students through independent research and writing projects.

I completed the Teacher Training Program at The Windward School, where I received in-depth training in the science of reading and evidence-based strategies for building comprehension. Beyond the classroom, I have worked independently for several years as a tutor supporting students in building skills and confidence through one-on-one instruction. I love working with students and am committed to tailoring instruction to each individual's strengths and goals. I bring humor, empathy, and a deep belief in my students' ability to succeed to each tutoring session.
