I'm an English teacher and tutor and currently a graduate student in the English department at Oxford University (UK). I went to the University of Virginia for my undergrad and graduated with honors and a double major in English and Political Theory. After I graduated, I moved to England to teach English on a fellowship at a boarding school there and I discovered that I really love to teach! When I got home I started working for a pro bono law firm in Atlanta, but I've been tutoring students on the side in English, writing, standardized test prep and college application writing since I graduated.
I enjoy working with middle school, high school and college students, especially when it comes to reading well and writing unique and interesting essays and papers. I would be happy to chat with anyone who wants a second set of eyes on their assignments or a little extra help with English class!
