I am a recent graduate of Temple University with a Master's degree in Secondary Education and an undergraduate major in History. I tutor all available social studies subjects. Since 2019, I have worked as a substitute teacher. I have had a lifelong fascination with reading about different historical events and sharing it with those around me. Becoming an instructor is the natural conclusion of such a life, as well as the best way I can of service to the next generation. It is my hope that by illuminating past and present trends, my pupils can gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the world around them. I have always made sure to not treat any class as a monolithic entity. I am always ready to keep regular contact with both individual students and their guardians so that we can ensure academic and social excellence. As long as three key elements of teaching are satisfied-intelligent use of technology and materials, encouraging students to feel a personal stake in their learning, and fostering trust-any teacher-student relationship is bound to be successful.
