Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Flagler College where I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. While I was a student at Flagler, I worked as a lead tutor and as the assistant student coordinator of the Flagler College writing center where I tutored students of varying years, academic interests, and writing styles. Since graduation, I have worked as a Language and Culture Assistant for a secondary school in Madrid, Spain. I work hand in hand with the faculty to create interactive lessons for ESL students and I lead small group English language workshops.
While I have tutored a variety of students in a broad range of subjects, my favorite subjects to tutor are high school and college writing and English. In my experience working as a writing tutor, I like to create an open dialogue with students where we can work together to formulate new ideas, create strong outlines, and improve students' overall writing in the long run.
