I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin Madison and recently completed my master's degree in Accounting at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. I have worked for global corporations for (30) years and experienced firsthand the importance of accurate accounting, insightful results analysis and proper internal controls. I look forward to helping you realize how the accounting function a serious field of business in its own right can be a reliable and influential business partner in an organization.

I enjoy tutoring students on general accounting, managerial accounting, cost accounting and financial reporting. I also enjoy coaching students on presentation skills and business writing - - also needed skills for accounting professionals. My teaching and tutoring philosophy is anchored by two primary objectives. First, I provide a conducive learning environment through contagious enthusiasm. The transactional technical details of accounting can be viewed as tedious. I thrive on the creativity needed to transform a false stereotype into subject matter that suddenly becomes relevant and rewarding. Second, I pair my creativity with my business experience which qualifies me to tie any accounting concept to a real-world example instantly. When I was in school, I pursued an accounting tutor which helped me transform my confusion and frustration to "aha" moments and established my appreciation for this important field of study.

I enjoy reading, exercising and spending time with my wife and two children. I am an avid Packers football, Red Sox baseball and Celtics basketball fan. My favorite place to vacation is on the island of Maui and try to get to New York to see Broadway shows as often as possible.
