Certified Tutor

Education is a passion of mine. I hold a Masters in Education from the University of Illinois, which has allowed me to obtain transferable skills and knowledge to the students in which I instruct and tutor. I have classroom teaching experience as well as tutoring experience. I began tutoring students while I was an undergraduate, focusing on english, ESL, reading comprehension, writing skills, organizational skills, time management skills, and research skills. Also, while I was completing my Masters degree, I taught sections of written and oral communications courses, which allowed me to provide the knowledge necessary for students to improve on their public speaking skills, presentation skills, and speech writing skills. Due to my diverse social sciences background, I am able to help students obtain and strengthen their critical thinking skills, which is a skill that can be transferred to any area of study. I am dedicated towards helping students reach their highest potential, maintaining a professional, and comfortable working environment, and applying myself towards being of service towards the goals of my students.
