Throughout my life, I have always been gifted in academics. I was often the smartest student in the classroom, and in high school I was Valedictorian, a AP Scholar with Honors, and a National Merit Scholarship winner for my strong PSAT score. Now, I am doing well at Wheaton College as I work towards a Bachelor of Music integrated with Computer Science. I have been able to achieve a lot in school and academics, and my joy lies in sharing my gift by helping students to reach their own potential!

My favorite subjects to tutor are SAT/PSAT test prep and K-12 math and reading. These are the academic areas I am strongest in, and in these areas I have developed strategies that are efficient but comprehensive.

For almost a year, I worked at Kumon, an after-school tutoring center. I worked with children K-12 in math and reading. I would do anything from helping kindergartners learn to spell, to describing the calculus integration process to 12th graders. As a team, we monitored students' growth and rewarded them along the way.

My teaching philosophy lies in personal development and discovery. I meet my students where they are and determine how we can work together to help them reach their goals. Students should be excited to learn, and knowledge should be valued. So beyond helping students with homework, classwork, and getting ahead, I want to make sure my students are grasping material such that they can make connections on their own and discover a own love for any subject!
