I'm an educator and media enthusiast who's passionate about finding ways to utilize my various educational backgrounds to bring about unique mediums in which children can explore the world they live in.
I received a B.S. in Communications from the University of Miami with a major in Electronic Media and a minor in Dance. While there, I also developed a love for Taekwondo and received a first degree black belt.
I am currently studying to receive a Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University online. I then hope to go on to receive a PhD in Education. In the coming year, I'll be spending more time in the classroom and putting what I've learned to practice.
I've worked as an elementary reading tutor, mentor, museum educator, and track & field assistant coach.
In my spare time, I like to brush up on my storytelling skills through photography and videography. I would like to eventually produce educational children's programming; so I would say this is another step towards reaching that goal. :)
