My fluency and love of Spanish comes from having grown up in Spain. I took my passion and knowledge and taught middle and high school Spanish for seven years. While my dialect is from Spain, I felt that it offered an added benefit to my students when it came to spelling and deciphering sounds. I enjoyed sharing my Spanish background with my students and watching them grow and learn. I try to come up with innovative and memorable ways for them to learn. I want them to enjoy themselves while they are learning and leave them wanting more. I will ask my students prior to the lesson what they need help in so that I can be prepared and make it meaningful. I will sometimes assign homework to strengthen the lesson. It's always great when the student has an ah-ha moment and takes pride in what they have been learning. I look forward to speaking Spanish with you.
