Hello! My name is Megan and I am a full-time Academic Director at a non-profit organization in Philadelphia. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Level Education with concentrations in math and science and I have an active PA teaching certificate. During my teaching career, I have had opportunities to strengthen my communication, differentiation, and behavior management skills. I have passions specifically for math and English. I understand that math can be very abstract sometimes, but I believe that it is made more tangible through the use of related examples and manipulative, it can be much more accessible to individuals. In addition to math, I think that language is an extremely important foundation of learning. Written and spoken language are two very strong methods of communication and building these skills is vital to success. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
