I'm currently an undergraduate nursing student at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. I'm expected to graduate in May of 2022 with a BSN in nursing. Although I love nursing, I also love teaching! I teach a variety of subjects, however, the main ones are English, reading, writing, and sciences. It is incredibly difficult to pick a favorite, but if I had to choose it would be English & writing. I thoroughly enjoy the process that writers take in becoming the writers they strive to be! My philosophy includes practice. I believe that students need to struggle with their subject and then grow from that experience. I'm here to guide you through those struggles so there's no need to fear! My goal is to make sure you are confident and independent in your area of learning. My experience in tutoring is quite diverse in terms of age groups. I have worked with children in second grade all the way up to students college. Most of my experience, however, is with high school students guiding them through the ever-so-dreaded ACT. In my free time, I enjoy sports, especially volleyball, basketball, and softball (baseball). I love adventuring to places I've never seen before, hiking trails, and photographing the plants and wildlife there! Also, I have a passion for journaling and calligraphy.
