I'm passionate about helping students finding their writing voice and style either for schoolwork or in order to ace standardized exams. It can be fun, too. Trust me, I received a perfect writing score on the ACT by writing about SpongeBob SquarePants. Back when I was 16, that cemented my legendary status with my friends. Now, my goal is to help my students unearth their knack for all things English and writing so they too can excel and enjoy the process at the same time.

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, where I studied Modern Middle Eastern Studies. Before that, I studied History at Northwestern University (BA). All throughout I've been an avid reader, researcher, and writer. I've taught English as a second language for adults, and also have experience teaching high-school aged students at an international summer school based at the University of Oxford. After finding those teachings experiences rewarding, I'm eager to help more students on Varsity Tutors!
