I am a tutor in the Alexandria and Washington DC area. I graduated from Duke University this May with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Mandarin Chinese. I am also a Second Lieutenant in the US Air Force. Now that my time as a student has ended, I am taking the skills and experience I acquired and putting them to use helping others reach their academic goals. I tutor students of any age in a variety of subjects, but I particularly enjoy English, History, Government and Mathematics. I also have extensive experience with Standardized Tests, including the ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, AP exams and others. I have tutored middle school students in English and Math, high school students in Algebra and US History, and private clients in SAT test preparation. Whether you are preparing for a major exam or simply need a bit of assistance with your coursework, I can help. Having recently graduated, I understand the challenges and pressures students face, especially given the rising cost (and competitiveness) of education. I will bring the patience, commitment and expertise to ensure that you or your loved one succeeds.
