I am a Caribbean American tutor that has earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Florida, and recently completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at the University of Central Florida. I started off my tutoring career as an ACT/SAT prep tutor and enjoyed it so much I have continued to work in the profession. I have worked as a 6-8th grade Math, English, and Science tutor for over 3 years in the United States, and I have worked as a full-time English teacher in Japan for 2 years. While in Japan, I gained my TEFL Diploma for Adults and Young learners and have experience in being an Adult English conversation teacher.

Through my own teaching and life experiences, both in the United States and Japanese education systems, I have gained cultural sensitivity to the world around me and the ability to work in a variety of environments, styles, subjects, and techniques.

My motivation for teaching comes from my mother and mentor how encouraged me to teach. Their love and enthusiasm for teaching inspired me to pursue the profession, and I have helped make a lasting impact in over 2,000 students' lives. My greatest joy is to help students learn the skills they need to succeed.

It is important to me that I use my skills to provide a high-quality service. I am continuously curious, open-minded, hardworking, enthusiastic, well-organized, and flexible.
