I have worked in chemistry for five years, from research to academic settings. I have worked with students in many settings, from teaching them chemistry in a lab to tutoring others in college while getting my degree. Through these experiences, I have found I really enjoy working with students and would one day like to be a full time instructor.
I have found that with the right approach, problem solving skills and a little bit of practice anyone can become an expert in whatever field they pick, no matter how initially intimidating it may be!
I am currently in school for a M.S. in chemistry, while working as a science technician at a local college. I have a bachelors degree in chemistry, in addition to three years doing chemistry research, in both organic and inorganic chemistry.
Outside of work I enjoying watching and playing basketball, reading and learning to cook.
