Certified Tutor

Seeing the moment a concept is understood gives me the best feeling. It is the moment I want all people to feel when they find a subject difficult. Using my years of teaching experience, I hope to help you or your child get past the feelings of confusion to that "Ah ha!" moment!

I attended York College in Nebraska and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Elementary Education. From there I moved to Columbus, NE to teach 2nd grade. While there, I headed up a tutoring program for readers who needed some extra help after school. During the summer, I helped run a tutoring program for students of all ages through my church. I was in charge of creating and finding the best resources and plans for each student.

I feel my strength lies in tutoring students in reading and math 6th grade and under, but am willing to look into any student's needs and see if it is a good fit. I would only want to tutor those who I know I can help!

When I am not tutoring, I like to hike, camp and scrapbook. Right now, I stay at home with my 2 children and we love to be at the pool and doing anything outside.
