Certified Tutor
My name is Kimberly Montone and I love learning. I'm a fully certified teacher who has been teaching at Canton Preparatory High School for 3+ years. There, I teach 9-12th graders speech, debate and introduction to theater. Additionally, I service 7-8th graders who require reading intervention.
Language is my passion and I'm currently taking classes to achieve my Masters in Linguistics. I graduated from EMU in 2021 summa cum laude with three different honors. My major is in Secondary Education; Language, Literature and Writing and my minor is Communications and Theater arts. I've passed the MTTC tests and am fully certified to teach both.
The disciplines in which I am strongest are Literature and English language but I have plenty of experience will many others. I have helped countless students gain study skills and am also certified to teach 7-12 grade ELA, communications classes and test prep.
