I have been a high school science teacher for the past 5 and a half years, where I've taught a variety of classes, such as college preparatory biology, sheltered health for ESL students, sheltered biology for ESL students, general science for ESL students, chemistry, physical science, and medical careers. I try my best to make learning fun, engaging, and effective by incorporating lots of different activities that would help all learners succeed!

I've also previously tutored ACT for approximately 3-4 years, where I helped high school students not only understand the test, but most importantly, develop skills to master the test. I've also conducted ACT and SAT tutoring sessions at the school that I teach, where I had a greater focus on the science portion and test-taking strategies. Students have reported that they not only felt more comfortable with the test, but most importantly, they improved their scores!

Teaching is a passion, and I am so excited to be able to share my passion with other students!
