Hello! My name is Cameron Olson and I am a Texas certified English Language Arts and Reading teacher for grades 7-12 (also ESL certified). I have been a classroom teacher 3 years and tutoring for over 5.

I would love to offer my services to any age group! I specialize in writing and grammar, but am also very skilled in teaching basic reading skills, such as context clues, main idea, and comprehension. As you'll see on my resume, I have helped students achieve significant improvements on their standardized test scores.

I can also teach your child how to formulate their ideas into a well-crafted essay or paper. For high school students, I have a firm grasp on how to develop a grounded essay that includes thesis statement, topic sentences and transitions. We will go step by step through the writing process so that your child eventually learns to do this on his or her own.

Finally, I have a significant passion for linguistics and the rules of English grammar. If your child is struggling in this area, I have many tactics to help him or her develop understanding.
