Certified Tutor

In 2008, I was a senior psychology major who went to see her advisor to deal with a scheduling conflict, and instead left with a Teaching Assistant position. That day profoundly shifted my life and introduced me to the teaching profession. That experience led me to Huntington Learning Center, where I honed my craft. I listened and watched how other educators taught, motivated, and influenced their students lives. I then borrowed those techniques and successfully applied them to my students. My collaborative teaching style eventually lead to three Teacher of the Month awards!
In my brief absence, I started a family and am currently raising two school aged boys. As a result, I've acquired new skill sets that I am constantly applying, adapting and re-evaluating. I am now ready to fully re-engage and assist students in their search for clarity and understanding. As an educator I've realized that one never stops learning, and I'm looking forward to contributing, as well as, expanding my knowledge.
