I am a sophomore at Rutgers University majoring in English and Public Health on the pre med track. Through my hard work and dedication, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while balancing my job as a student employee and volunteer tutor. My work in these environments has made me more passionate to do work that helps people! I plan to apply to MD/MPH programs in the future and I hope to become a ob-gyn and patient advocacy columnist.

Though this may not be exactly "fun" for some, I enjoy writing essays and criticisms on literature, film and public health! In fact, I have read and written many scholarly articles on your favorite films and books including Shrek, Wall-E, and Harry Potter. I also make documentary films with my friends that address everything from sociological concepts to fashion in Indian cinema.
