Hi! My name is Anthony Dik (my last name is pronounced "Dee-Kay") and I am currently an undergraduate student at New York University. I went to Mount St. Michael Academy in the North Bronx for high school. I am currently planning on majoring in Computer Science, and am very active in the entrepreneurial community at NYU. The clubs that I am in include the Entrepreneurial Exchange Group (an entrepreneurship club in the NYU Stern business school) and the Innovention Society (an entrepreneurship club in the NYU Tandon engineering school). I love to play basketball and work out at my local gym. I'm currently working on a clothing brand, a tv show with a film student, and am learning how to program in React.js in my spare time.

I have experience tutoring students that spans about 4+ years. I've tutoring a wide range of age groups from 1st grade to high school. I've tutored mainly in Math, History, English, and Computer Science. In high school, as part of the National Honors Society, I spent many after school hours tutoring all grade levels in any subject they needed help with (I had the most success with AP World History and AP English Literature). In my senior year, with the help of a Columbia University professor, I started a programming club where I helped high school students learn the fundamentals of programming and Python. I also taught the Google CS First curriculum to students in K through 3rd grade at the New York Public Library. I believe any student can learn as long as a passion and interest for the subject is instilled in them and enough patience is employed!
