Certified Tutor

I am working writer, editor, and creative type who knows all about how the increasingly standardized education system can chafe with independent young minds. Having struggled through middle school with motivation and consistency in and outside of the classroom, I was fortunate to find a teacher in 9th grade who invigorated my love for learning; all by showcasing the opportunities available to me through education that I'd always taken for granted. School is challenging and should be taken seriously, but with a little bit of creativity, it's also a lot of fun!

Everyone has stories they can connect with on an emotional level, be that in film, television, or the printed word. My personal work, which consists of developing screen and stage plays, directing, as well as editing footage and images, showcases how fundamental language comprehension and writing are, even past graduation.
These fundamental skills of communication, regardless of language, must be encouraged and cultivated in all young people. Every individual has enormous natural aptitude in their original language, and I love fostering the development of these skills, and helping students discover new ones as well!
