I have been teaching English at the high school level for six years and have an immense passion for literature and the role it plays in one's development. In addition to my fondness for literature, I am also extremely passionate about writing. This passion led me to pursue a background in writing while I was in college, studying both writing theory and writing center theory and tutoring undergraduate and graduate students. These experiences cultivated skills and knowledge that provided me with opportunities to present at writing conferences, at both an International and Regional level. While tutoring I do my best to utilize a minimalist approach, but adjust my style based upon the individual needs of each student.
