I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and have had the chance to explore a lot of different cities around the country. I have recently planted some roots in Seattle, WA and am really enjoying it here. I have taught mostly middle school Social Studies and English for the past eight years and am very excited to move in to high school this year teaching 9th grade World History. Besides my career, I am a big fan of any outdoor activity and really love hiking, whitewater kayaking, and mountain biking.
