I earned a Ph.D. and an M.A. in English from Saint Louis University, where I specialized in American Literature, poetry, and pedagogy. As an educator, my experience includes a full-time faculty appointment in English as a Second Language, in addition to teaching freshman composition, business and technical writing, and American and British literature as an adjunct instructor. I also have more than a decade of writing center/tutoring experience, both as the coordinator of the English Language Center, a writing center for international students at Saint Louis University, and as a writing consultant at Saint Louis University, DePaul University, and Barat College. I have experience teaching English abroad in Krakow, Poland.
