I was born in Towson, MD, raised in Lutherville, MD, and am still here as a 23 year-old student at Towson University majoring in Spanish, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature/Professional.

During my collegiate academic career, I've traveled abroad twice: once to Dublin, Ireland in the summer of 2016, and once to Madrid, Spain for the spring 2018 semester.

The subject that I tutor is the very same that I'm studying now: Spanish. It's something that's always been apart of my life. My mom introduced it to me at the age of four by putting up flash cards around the house and labeling them appropriately (for example, putting "cocina" on the wall in the kitchen). I've learned it academically since kindergarten and excelled in it through my whole academic career. After studying in Madrid, I've succeeded in becoming fluent in the language and am maintaining it through independent studying outside of school.

Needless to say, I'm passionate about and fascinated by Spanish. I want to share that passion because knowing a second language is immensely useful in every area of life. It's greatly enhanced my life, and I plan to help it enhance others' lives. I will do my best to make it fun, fascinating, interesting...at least one of those! Ideally all three!

I love tutoring because it allows for the ideal academic platform: personalizing. One-on-one sessions will allow me to adjust to the student's needs and deliver the information with ideal, personal attention. It works in perfect accord with my teaching philosophy: everyone learns differently, so teach differently to everyone.

Aside from Spanish, I'm a musician. I play guitar, sing and write, record and produce my own music. From time to time I also enjoy writing as a recreation. I enjoy traveling, but Spain is the country that has my heart. I plan to go back and live there in the near future.
