I am a current student with a passion for teaching and learning. My aim is to help students gain a holistic understanding of math, science and language. I believe that mastery of an academic subject comes from comprehending concepts as they would apply in the real world. Academic skills are imperative for students as they transition from high school to college, so in addition to an understanding of the material, I teach students soft skills such as time management, self-teaching, and discipline.

I first became interested in tutoring during study sessions with my fellow peers. The coursework of a premedical student can be very challenging and I found I had a particular aptitude for breaking down complex subjects into smaller understandable parts, mostly by using relatable metaphors and comparisons.

Even the most esoteric content can be understood if you find a way to make it applicable to your own life, in a sense to make the knowledge useful.
