I was only ten years old, but my aged grandfather would always call me to interpret the instructions on how to take his chronic disease medications to him since he could neither read nor write. By and by, I developed a strong sense of curiosity about how these medications worked, their side-effects and why they needed to be taken at specific times. It is this drive which influenced my decision to pursue a career in pharmacy notwithstanding any difficulties or challenges that sought to derail my dream.
Today, I am a professional pharmacist pursuing a graduate studies in Public health which is in line with my desire of becoming a clinical research scientist.
Do not take your humble beginnings for granted! Be motivated to pursue your career dreams no matter who or where you find yourself, knowing that the key to success is hard work.
Given my background, I have gained the requisite skills and knowledge to help students understand various concepts in Algebra, Statistics, Biostatistics and English. I realize that all students are different and adopt a customized approach with each student depending on the scope and level of difficulty of the topic.
