I have been tutoring several students in college-level statistics, plant biology, and botany. I recently earned my Master of Science degree after completing by Bachelor of Science degree in the department of Horticulture at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon where I currently live. My thesis research was in grapevine Genomics and Metabolomics, but my coursework was mainly plant biology and physiology. Before returning to school, I had a great opportunity teaching English as a second language in Texas to families recently immigrating from Mexico and Central America. I found teaching very rewarding because, by imparting knowledge, you are giving a gift that will improve someone's life, forever!
I am a single dad and I enjoy reading, playing the mandolin, gardening, cinema, and relaxing in the sunshine.
