Certified Tutor

I received my B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Teacher Prep from VCU. Teaching became my passion quickly after a few experiences as a Teaching Assistant in several college Algebra classes. Since then I have been in high schools tutoring and co-teaching Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I aim to improve students' understanding of and appreciation for Mathematics through a patient, considerate, and adaptable teaching approach. I am committed to this goal by working diligently in practicing my art of teaching and learning to accommodate every person/child's specific needs. When Im not tutoring/teaching, I spend most of time making music, playing drums, and performing.
